A Guide to Pleiadian Starseeds

Within New Age beliefs there is a concept of “starseeds” - individuals with souls of extraterrestrial origins. Among these starseeds are the Pleiadian starseeds, who are believed to be souls originating from the Pleiades star cluster. But who exactly are they and what is their purpose on Earth?

In certain spiritual circles, there’s a belief that some individuals are “starseeds” - souls that have reincarnated on Earth after originating from other star systems or planets. There are many types of starseeds with Pleidians being just one of them. 

Pleiadian starseeds refer to those whose souls are said to have come from the Pleiades star cluster, located in the constellation of Taurus, about 444 lightyears away from Earth. It consists of hundreds of stars, with the brightest forming a distinct group called the “Seven Sisters”. According to the Pleiadian starseed belief system, highly evolved beings reside on planets orbiting some of the stars in this cluster. 

But, these starseeds haven’t been reincarnated on Earth by mistake or for no reason, in fact, there is the idea that certain souls have volunteered to incarnate on Earth to help raise the spiritual vibrations and consciousness of humanity. They have a deep understanding of cosmic truth, universal laws and humanity’s greater potential. 

History & Origins 

New Age beliefs such as aspects of spirituality, reincarnation, aliens and such became extremely popular in the late 20th century. It incorporates channelled teachings, extraterrestrial myths, and ideas about human origins. 

Some trace the origins of the Pleiadian starseed concept to Billy Meier, a psychic channeller and founder of a UFO religion, who claimed to have had contact with extraterrestrials from the Pleiades. However, it was psychic channeler and author Barbara Marciniak in the 1980s and 90s that brought the concept to a wider audience as she claimed to channel a group of highly evolved beings from the Pleiades who referred to themselves as "Pleiadians.” They have been “speaking” through her since May 1988.

According to these channelings, the Pleiadian race is an ancient extraterrestrial civilisation that has achieved an extremely advanced level of spiritual and technological development. They are said to have been nurturing and guiding the evolution of humankind on Earth for millennia. 

Those who resonate with being Pleiadian Starseeds often describe feeling different from others since childhood. They are typically described as old souls with depth, wisdom and spiritual maturity beyond their years.

A common trait is a driving sense of mission or purpose to make a positive impact on the world. Pleiadian Starseeds feel called to be agents of spiritual awakening and societal transformation. They tend to question authority, think outside the box, and have little regard for adhering to norms if it compromises their values.

They are also reported to have powerful intuition, as well as being highly empathetic with a natural understanding of energy and vibrations. It’s not uncommon for Pleiadian starseeds to encounter some sort of psychic experience from an early age, like vivid dreams of flying through space, or sensing a guiding presence during the night. 

The Pleiades is an open star cluster located in the constellation of Taurus. Despite being over 400 lightyears away, it’s one of the nearest star clusters to Earth. In fact, on a clear night, you can see it with your own eyes! Astronomers estimate it contains over 1,000 stars, making it one of the most populated open clusters, but only a handful of the brightest stars can be seen -  the Seven Sisters, which have their own stories and myths throughout human history.

In Greek mythology, the Pleiades were the seven daughters of the Titan Atlas who were pursued by the hunter Orion across the night sky. In Japanese folklore, they were represented as a trail of birds in flight. And the Aboriginal Australians saw the Pleiades as a group of dingo puppies being pursued by the larger dingo.

What makes the Pleiades star system so intriguing is that its brightest stars that burn with a blue hue were only recently formed within the last 100 million years. Whereas the entire cluster is roughly 115 million years old. 

In Pleiadian starseed teachings, sacred symbols also exist and are seen as representations of cosmic truths and channels for elevated energies. Their symbology tends to feature patterns like spirals, circles and infinity symbols, which represent Pleiadian beliefs about unity and interconnectedness of all beings and dimensions. 

Birthmarks are thought to be “cosmic imprints” which reflect our otherworldly origins. Therefore, each type of starseed is associated with its own distinct and recognisable birthmarks. For Pleiadians, certain birthmarks could be physical markers indicating a soul's origins lie within the Pleiades star system. 

Geometric shaped birthmarks like circles, parallel lines or dots arranged in patterns are associated with Pleiadian origins. For example, diagonal lines are usually interpreted as rays of starlight or paths to an interdimensional gateway. 

Exactly what these birthmarks are representing and communicating however, are open to interpretation. Some believe that they are encoded geometrical languages and galactic information, while others believe these birthmarks indicate specific roles or missions the soul has to fulfil on Earth. 

Pleiadian starseeds are reincarnated souls on Earth so it’s possible you may have crossed paths with one in the past. There’s also a possibility that you yourself may be a Pleiadian starseed, as there are certain personality traits and experiences that are considered potential signs of being one.
