Centre of Excellence (CoE) offers products and services provided by CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE, is registered in England and Wales, with a company registration number: 08422343. Our registered office is C/O Williamson & Croft Llp York House, 20 York Street, Manchester, England, M2 3BB.

These Terms of Use govern your use of our website, apps, and other products and services. As some of our services may be software, you agree that we may automatically update this software, and that these terms will apply to such updates.

Please read these terms carefully, and contact us if you have any questions, requests for information, or complaints.

By using our website or other services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Using Our Services

Any violation of our Terms, applicable laws, or Policies may result in your access to all or part of our services being suspended, disabled, or terminated.

When you create your Centre of Excellence account, and when you subsequently use certain features, you must provide us with accurate and complete information, and you agree to update your information to keep it accurate and complete.

Our Licence to You

Subject to these terms and conditions, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence right to use our services. The rights granted herein are only for your personal, non-commercial use, unless you obtain our written permission otherwise. You also agree that you will create, access, and/or use only one user account, unless expressly permitted by Centre of Excellence, and you will not share access to your account or access information for your account with any third party. Using our services does not grant you ownership of or any intellectual property rights in our services or the content you access.

Commercial Use

Any use of our services for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Any commercial use must be subject to a separate agreement with Centre of Excellence.

Content

Our Content

Centre of Excellence offers courses and content. While we seek to provide best in class learning experience, unexpected events do occur. Centre of Excellence reserves the right to cancel, interrupt, reschedule, or modify any content, or change the point value or weight of any assessment.

Your Content

Our services enable you to share your content, such as assessments and learnings. You retain all intellectual property rights in, and are responsible for, the content you create and share.

User Content does not include course content or other materials made available on Centre of Excellence.

Feedback

We welcome your suggestions, ideas, comments, and other feedback regarding our services. By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use the feedback without any restriction or any compensation to you.

Accessing Content / Delivery

For Digital Product purchases:

Course content and assessments can be accessed immediately after successful payment via our website or app.

For Physical Product purchases

Your product e.g. printed course material, certificate will be posted out to you using your selected delivery method. Delivery times may vary depending on the provider. Delays from this service are beyond our control, but we will do our best to communicate expected lead times on deliveries during the order process.

Security

We care about the security of our users. While we have safeguards and work to protect the security of your account and related information, Centre of Excellence cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security measures. Please notify us immediately of any compromise or unauthorised use of your account.

Payments

Centre of Excellence offer paid services (e.g. courses, course certificates, memberships, gift vouchers) for a fee. Unless otherwise stated, fees are quoted in local currency. You are responsible for paying all fees charged in a timely manner with a payment mechanism associated with the applicable paid service. If your payment method fails or your account is overdue, we may collect fees using other collection mechanisms.

Pricing

Prices may vary based on your location and other factors, and Centre of Excellence reserves the right to change any fees at any time at its sole discretion. Any change, update, or modification will be effective immediately upon posting through the relevant services. Refunds may be available for paid services as described in our Returns and Refunds terms below.

Payment options

Payment for services can be taken in one payment, or spread across a 6 month payment plan.

Payment Plans

When choosing the payment plan option to purchase a course, Centre of Excellence will take an initial deposit upon purchase and the remaining balance will then be taken in equal, fixed amounts for a period of six months.

Payments will automatically be collected each month until the end of the plan.

If your card expires or if a payment is not authorised, we will retry payment up to three times. Upon the third failure, your course will be put “On Hold” in your Learning Centre and will be inaccessible until the payment issue is resolved. All course progress will be saved. Your course will be taken off hold once you have resumed the payment plan from your account.

Refunds & Returns

Eligible purchases can be exchanged within 14 days of purchase for another course of your choosing of equal or lower value, or refunded.

Courses and Audio Courses

Exchange

We want you to provide you with the best learning experience possible. Sometimes we understand the course you selected isn’t quite what was expected, eligible purchases can be exchanged within 14 days of purchase for another course up to the value of your original purpose.

Refund

In cases where an exchange is declined, a refund will be granted back to the payment method used, provided it otherwise meets our 14-day refund policy.

Please allow up to 30 days for any money to be returned back to your account. Your statutory rights are not affected. Refunds will be returned to the card used for the original purchase. Access to your course will be deactivated and removed.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to determine the eligibility of the refund/exchange request or deny refund/exchange requests in cases where we believe there is refund/exchange abuse, including but not limited to the following:

  • All or part of the course has been consumed or studied by a student before the refund was requested.
  • Multiple refunds have been requested by a student for the same course.
  • Excessive refunds have been requested by a student.
  • Students who have their account blocked or course access restricted due to a violation of our terms.

Third Party Refunds

Centre of Excellence Online are not liable or responsible to issue any refunds for any purchases made via a third party, and these should instead be referred to the policy of the organisation purchased from.

Physical Printed Materials and Certificates

All return requests and cancellations must be notified to us in writing within 14 days of receiving your order.

Our team will confirm the refund process to you in response to your request.

You will be responsible for returning the goods to Centre of Excellence at your own cost and risk, unless the goods are faulty.

As a result we recommend you get a free proof of postage certificate from the Post Office or send any parcel by a recorded delivery service.

Goods should be returned to:

Centre of Excellence Returns, Colony, 5 Piccadilly Place, Manchester, M1 3BR.

Items that are sent back or returned without prior authorisation from the customer service team will not be able to be processed for refund.

We regret that we cannot be responsible and will not issue refunds for returned items which never reach Centre of Excellence are returned damage (including due to damage in transit).

CoE Grow Membership

Centre of Excellence offers a yearly membership plan. The membership provides the user of that membership with the benefits outlined on the 'Grow with CoE' membership page - these benefits are subject to change at any time at the discretion of Centre of Excellence. Memberships are subject to the terms below. Membership is non transferable.

CoE Membership Plans

Membership Plans are automatically renewable on an annual basis until terminated by you or us in accordance with these terms. You will be charged the applicable membership fee on your renewal date.

Annual Plan. The membership is available on an annual basis. Membership fees are charged yearly on the renewal date. Members will receive course credits and the outlined additional benefits at the start of their membership and again upon their renewal.

Course Access. Courses accessed with Grow credits are heavily discounted and are only available for study while the membership plan is active and all relevant payments have been made.

Rollover Members are allowed to rollover course and audio credits as long as their Grow membership is active. Credits granted as part of the Grow membership do not expire and can be redeemed against the user account they have been issued against as long as their Grow membership is active.

Grow Membership Credits

The membership entitles the user to 12 course credits and 12 audio course credits. The codes to redeem these credits will be issued upon successful completion of the order.

CoE Grow members receive codes referred to as credits that may be used to access CoE courses. If you try to access more courses than the number of available Grow credits in your account, you will be billed the price for the applicable course. This will be made clear at the cart and throughout the checkout process. Any additional courses purchased via a Grow membership will be at the discounted rate of £25.

  1. Membership Prices
    Price of the membership is subject to change at any time. Prices of an existing membership are not subject to change until the membership reaches renewal date.
  2. Renewal
    Membership Plans automatically renew on the renewal date, annually. If an error occurs when collecting the renewal payment then access to the membership and all benefits will be removed immediately. Membership following an error can be restarted via the website.
  3. Cancellation of Membership
    You have 14 days to cancel your membership plan, however, we will only issue you a full refund of any membership fees if you have not redeemed any credits or used any member benefits associated with the plan. If you have redeemed credits or benefits within 14 days of signing up for a membership, we may withhold from your refund the value of the redeemed voucher(s) and benefits. You may cancel by contacting us.
    After you have been a member for 14 days, you may cancel at any time via the website, but you will not receive a refund of any membership fees already paid.

Termination or Variance of Membership

Our business may change over time and we reserve the right to modify the Membership. We also reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the Membership in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice and without liability to you. In the event that we exercise such right, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund, in our sole discretion, if you are a member.

General Terms

We reserve the right to revise the Terms at our sole discretion at any time. Any revisions to the Terms will be effective immediately upon posting by us. For any material changes to the Terms, we will take reasonable steps to notify you of such changes, via a banner on the website, email notification, another method, or combination of methods. In all cases, your continued use of the Services after publication of such changes, with or without notification, constitutes binding acceptance of the revised Terms.

If it turns out that a particular provision of these Terms is not enforceable, this will not affect any other terms. If you do not comply with these Terms, and we do not take immediate action, this does not indicate that we relinquish any rights that we may have (such as taking action in the future).
