Year 6 English

Children will explore the key themes and topics of year 6 English by learning about the fun parts of other topics they'll cover in school. Additionally, a video accompanies each topic within these subject areas. Breaking up the subject and providing another way to learn.

This approach proves to maintain motivation. Children engage with these topics whilst absorbing the key Year 6 English learning. They become confident in reading and writing whilst broadening their knowledge.

In addition to covering the Year 6 English curriculum's key topics, your child will learn about the following: Victorian Britain, China, electricity, Ancient Greece, stories from other cultures, famous artists, William Shakespeare, World War II, natural landscapes, and The Maya.

Each module in the Year 6 English provides practice opportunities. Your child will also work through fun and engaging exercises to ensure they retain the knowledge.
