Tailored to complement the Year 4 English UK National Curriculum, this course has been produced in line with the programme of study for Year 4 objectives in reading, writing, spelling and grammar.

Structured around fun and engaging topic areas, each module includes games, activities, quizzes and riddles to help reinforce learning and instil confidence. Children will develop a number of reading comprehension strategies as well as learning about authors, fiction and interesting elements of science, geography and history.

The spelling activities will boost confidence in spelling pattern rules, widen vocabulary use in writing, and help learners to spot mistakes and correct their spellings.

Topics covered in the course include Ancient Greeks, the Tudor monarchy, the Amazon, mythical beasts, Michael Morpurgo, the Vikings, science, music, and legends.
