Biology for Kids will take your child on a fun and engaging exploration into the world of living things! They will investigate many types of animals (including humans), as well as different species of plants and trees, learning all about the different things they require to grow and thrive.
Their journey will take them on an adventure into what different living things need to survive, in terms of their food and nutrition, how they choose to build their homes, and clever tactics they have developed to fend off predatory threats. They will study different animal groups in-depth, such as mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and minibeasts, as well as explore how plants and trees survive and thrive in the world. What’s more, they will have a series of interesting activities to complete, including some hands-on experiments to tackle at home, helping them to further their understanding!
Children aged 6 and up will be introduced to the Biology for Kids Course by learning about the seven characteristics that all living things have in common and the different ways in which they can be categorised. Your child will also discover the different life cycles of plants and animals and their varying nutritional needs.
They’ll visit the different homes and habitats of various creatures, learn how animals and plants have adapted to survive and thrive in their environments, and discover the techniques different animals use to communicate.
