Taking the World Explorers for Kids Course, children aged 6 and up will go on an exciting adventure, exploring every corner of our fascinating and intriguing world! Along the way, they’ll learn about the British Isles, Europe, The Middle East, Africa, Russia, Siberia, Mongolia, Asia, Oceania, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, and the Polar Regions – discovering facts, history and culture about each.
Your child will begin their journey in the British Isles, learning about its geography and some of its more unusual customs and traditions. They will then continue their expedition across the world, exploring all the different continents and learning a wealth of quirky facts, information and new ideas. They’ll discover lots of new knowledge linked to the geography, history, culture and customs of many inspiring places—generating a love of travel, adventure and interest in the world.
Each module of the course focuses on a key area of the world, examining some of the traditions and customs that make it unique. Your child will learn all about habitats and geography, discovering some of the animals that choose to make different places their home. History and culture will play a big part in their understanding, too; and while we can’t cover every single part of the world, the World Explorers for Kids Course will whet their appetite for discovering even more of its treasures. To retain engagement throughout, there are lots of fun activities and puzzles, helping them to cement their understanding and have fun at the same time!
