Taking the Year 2 English Course, your child will learn all of the basics of reading, writing and grammar relevant to this level whilst diving into fascinating elements of science, history and geography, as well as some great children’s stories to base their learning around. The course includes games and quizzes to help boost learning and comprehension of key concepts within English and engaging videos covering the other topics discussed.

Children will learn about minibeasts and where to find them, what caused the Great Fire of London to take place, how the citizens of the ancient Aztec civilisation lived, and how our seasons work and differ across the world.
They’ll go on to learn about the British Monarchy, how castles were built, different plants and how to grow them, and the continent of Antarctica and the species that live there. They’ll also discover some fantastic children’s stories, as they explore Paddington and The Three Little Pigs.
