What Will You Learn?

Behavioural psychology is a distinct subset of psychology that analyses human decision-making processes and influences. This encompasses the study of conditioning and how learning is affected by reinforcement and punishment.

In the Behavioural Psychology Diploma Course, you’ll learn about classical and operant conditioning, observational learning, therapeutic techniques, how to either build or break habits, how behaviourism is used in education and how behavioural psychology is used in the gamification of tasks in websites and apps.

You’ll learn about the concepts of creating conditioned responses and operant conditioning, along with positive encouragement and negative reinforcement. We will also discuss observational learning and its applications.

You’ll discover the therapeutic techniques used to produce fast and efficient results in individuals with specific behavioural issues. We will also consider both the positive and negative aspects of behavioural psychology.

We’ll look at how behavioural psychology is used to either build or break habits and the use of behaviourism in education. The course also includes an introduction to cognitive behavioural therapy and explores what it can and can’t treat.

The course concludes with a look at how behavioural psychology can be used in the gamification of tasks and discusses how websites and apps are already using psychology to keep users engaged and on the path to success.

By studying this course, you will:
