Reiki 1 & 2

Reiki is described as a universal, gentle and compassionate energy. In this tradition, practitioners believe that as it flows to the recipient it can help them feel relaxed, balanced and calm. Within the Reiki tradition, the mind, body and spirit are seen as connected, so practitioners believe that working with this energy can support a sense of balance and wellbeing. This is how Reiki is understood to work within its tradition. Reiki isn't a medical treatment and shouldn't be used as a substitute for professional healthcare.

Within the Reiki tradition, the mind, body and spirit are seen as interconnected, so if energy is believed to flow through the body, practitioners believe the spiritual body and the mind can benefit too. This is how Reiki is understood to work within its tradition — practitioners believe the energy flows through the body, supporting a sense of cleansing and balance on many levels, and in turn supporting the mind, body and emotions. As with all Reiki practice, this reflects belief and tradition rather than scientific evidence.

‘Attunement’ or initiation is what sets Reiki apart from other modalities of healing. Other forms of healing can be done intuitively or by someone who is ‘gifted’. This is not the case with Reiki; anyone can learn Reiki healing. The attunement process enables all students who go through learning and initiation into Reiki to practice and give healing if they wish to. However, some students simply want to undergo the learning and attunements for themselves and their own spiritual growth. This course is split into parts that cover Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 levels. It will give you all the tools you need to learn how to transfer this healing energy to help others, and use it in your own life too.

Important Note: Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 attunements are required to complete this course, for which there is an additional fee of £30 each. You can do this through Centre of Excellence, but you are also free to source your own attunements. Full details are given in the course.

It is required that you show proof of your Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 attunements to complete the course.

Upon completion of this comprehensive and insightful Reiki course, you will have the foundational knowledge to continue your learning journey if you aspire to ultimately set up as a Reiki Practitioner. You will have also taken your first steps towards eventually becoming a Reiki Master.

Reiki has many benefits for the recipient, but it has many benefits for the student too. This is due to the ‘attunements’ where Reiki energy is transferred into the student's energy system and chakras, with a view to opening and cleansing their chakras (energy centres). In the Reiki tradition, this is believed to support the flow of energy through the body's chakras (energy centres) and the upper body, arms and hands.
