Introduction to Dermatology

The Introduction to Dermatology Diploma Course covers a wide range of skin conditions. You’ll learn about their symptoms, treatments, preventions, and the possible complications that can occur. This includes a look at infectious skin diseases, such as mild bacterial diseases, viral infections and fungal infections, non-infectious skin diseases, genetic factors, and contributing environmental conditions. Dermatology is regulated by the HCPC; anyone wishing to practise under this protected title ('Dermatologist') must complete an approved HCPC programme and be registered with the HCPC. You must also gain practical experience.
