You'll start by getting to grips with what spiritual counselling actually is and how it differs from more conventional therapy. We'll cover the core listening, communication and ethical skills every good counsellor needs, alongside an introduction to the integrative counselling approach — which basically means you're not stuck following one rigid method, but instead drawing from whatever genuinely serves the person in front of you.
This part of the course is all about building a strong, professional base before we move into the more spiritual side of things. By the end of it, you'll know how to hold real conversations confidently, with a clear sense of your role and responsibilities as a counsellor.
Once your foundations feel solid, things start to get really interesting. You'll dive into the human energy system, including chakras, the aura, and the subtle body, and explore how mind-body-spirit therapy can be woven into your sessions.
We also take a wider tour through different spiritual traditions and their healing approaches, so you can offer something that feels respectful and inclusive of where your clients are coming from. You'll get to know:

We also spend proper time on intuition and higher guidance, helping you trust your own inner knowing as a practitioner. Holistic spiritual counselling isn't just about technique; it's about being able to tune in, sense what's needed in the moment, and respond from a place of genuine presence.
Some of the most important work you'll ever do is sitting with someone through grief or trauma. This part of the course teaches you how to hold space without trying to fix, rush or rescue, which sounds simple but takes real practice to do well. You'll learn how to:
In the final modules, the focus shifts to you and your future practice. You'll cover the practical bits like ethics, boundaries, confidentiality, and working with clients professionally, alongside the inner work of self-care and ongoing spiritual growth as a counsellor. Because you really can't pour from an empty cup, and burnout in this field is more common than people admit.
Once you've made your way through all the material, you'll receive a certification recognising your training in integrative therapy and spirituality, ready to support you as you step into your own work with confidence.
