The Foundations of Shamanic Energy Healing

You'll start by understanding what shamanic energy healing actually is, where it comes from, and how shamanic tradition and energy healing have come together as an integrative practice. This online shamanic healing course takes an honest look at the origins of the work across different cultures, the worldview that underpins it, and the important question of cultural sensitivity and appropriation. It's a grounded starting point that sets up everything that follows.

From there, you'll move into the human energy system, exploring the chakras, the meridian system and the concept of qi, the aura and the biofield, and how to begin working with energy practically. If you've previously studied chakra and aura healing or energy anatomy, this course deepens that knowledge in a shamanic context.

Shamanic Cosmology, the Three Worlds and Spirit Allies

One of the things that sets shamanic practitioner training apart from general energy work is the cosmology: the framework of upper, middle and lower worlds that the practitioner learns to navigate. You'll study this structure in depth, exploring what non-ordinary reality means, how the three worlds relate to each other, and how the practitioner acts as a bridge between them.

Alongside this, you'll look at the relationships that form the heart of shamanic work:

The Shamanic Journey and Energy Healing Techniques

The shamanic journey is the core practical skill of this work, and it gets a full module of its own. You'll learn how journeying works, what sonic driving is and why it supports the journey state, and the five stages of a shamanic journey from preparation through to integration. There's practical work throughout to help you begin developing this skill yourself.

You'll also spend time with the main energy healing modalities that integrate with shamanic practice, including Reiki, pranic healing, therapeutic touch and healing touch. The focus is on how these approaches work alongside shamanic technique rather than in isolation, giving you a broader toolkit to draw on.

Soul Retrieval, Ceremony and Holding Space for Others

The later modules move into some of the most powerful and distinctive aspects of shamanic practice. Soul retrieval gets a dedicated module, covering what it is, how fragmentation happens, and the step-by-step process of working with it safely and ethically. You'll also explore the role of plants, stones, sound and ceremony in healing work, which is where the course touches on areas like sound healing and crystal healing in their shamanic context.

The final module looks at what it means to hold space for others, including how to care for yourself as a practitioner, manage your own energy and avoid burnout. You'll also receive guidance on what comes next, because becoming a shamanic practitioner is a path that develops over years rather than weeks. 

On completion, you'll receive a certificate recognising your achievement as a Shamanic Energy Healing Practitioner.
