Are you still open?
Yes, we are still open but as you can probably imagine, we are inundated with enquiries at present which is preventing us from answering as quickly as we would like.

How much time do I have to complete my course?
Once you have purchased a course, there is absolutely no time limit to start or complete the work. Our courses are designed to fit around you and your lifestyle, so you can start at a time that suits you and work at your own pace. Even when you have completed a course, you will still have lifetime access to the course materials from your Learning Centre.

Assessments - Timescale
Assessments are still being marked. Once submitted for grading, assessments are usually marked within 14 working days. Due to the current pandemic situation, it may take slightly longer for you to receive your results, between 14 - 21 working days due to the high volumes being submitted, we thank you for your understanding.

Certificates
On successful completion of a course, you will be able to download two certificates.

1. The Centre of Excellence Diploma/Certificate (you will have the option of ordering a professionally printed version of this certificate for £15 + postage)
2. The CPD certificate (this certificate is downloadable only and not included in any order for printed certificates).

Additional, optional certificate:
Our courses have now been endorsed by the ABC Awards and Certa Awards Quality Licence Scheme. On completion of a course students have the option of purchasing a Certificate of Achievement and a learner unit summary from ABC Awards and Certa Awards

The ABC certificate may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills gained from the course. The Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course) may be used as evidence towards Recognition of Prior Learning if you wish to progress your studies in that particular subject. The learning outcomes of each course have been benchmarked at Level 3 or 4 against level descriptors published by Ofqual, to indicate the depth of study and level of demand/complexity involved in successful completion by the learner.

ABC certificates are not available to download but the printed version can be ordered from the "completed courses" section of your learning centre (for £15 + postage).

Can I gain insurance with my course?
Yes with the majority of our courses you can get insurance to practice. We recommend Westminster Global who are specialists in providing insurance for distance and online courses. You’ll also receive a discount for being one of our students if you follow this link!

Can I study this course in my country?
Although we are a UK based company, our courses can be studied anywhere. We have students all over the world.

What are the assessments like?
The assessments are a mixture of short, long and multiple choice answers, there is no long essay writing. If you register with us you will receive our free How to be a Super Learner course. This will give you an idea of the general format and layout of our courses. You can register here, for free.

Where is my purchased audio course?
Audio courses are in the "Audio Downloads" section of your account, rather than in the Learning Centre

I've bought a course but it's not showing in my Learning Centre?
If you purchased the course directly through our website, the course should be in the account registered under the email address associated with that particular order. Order confirmation will have been sent to that email address. (If you used PayPal as the payment option you may have a different email address registered with Paypal and you may, therefore, have two Centre of Excellence accounts registered under different email addresses.)

I can't complete my order?
Please try from a different device or by using a different web browser.
(If this does not resolve your order query please send a separate email to [email protected] and enter the subject as "Payment Issue" Ths will ensure that we can deal with your query quickly.)  

My payment is being failed due to security reasons?
If your bank/card provider is not blocking the payment please ensure the name and address on the order is the same as the name and address registered to the card.
Please note, if you are outside of the country the card is registered to the system will not allow the payment.

The website won't accept my card expiry date?
Please enter all 4 digits of the year.

How much is it to receive a hardcopy of the course materials?
There is a £29.50 + p&p fee to receive a hardcopy of the course materials posted out to you, this can be requested when checking out and making payment.

Printed materials and printed certificates
Orders are processed by the printers, in batches, on Tuesday and Friday of each week and are dispatched by first class Royal Mail post. Your course materials should be with you within 15 working days (of the Tuesday or Friday after making your order). Please allow an extra 7 working days for orders outside the UK. However, due to current circumstances, the delivery timescales are a guideline only and cannot be guaranteed.

I bought the course as a gift but the intended recipient has not received any notification?
An email would have been sent to the intended recipient's email address you entered on the order. Please ask them to check their spam/junk mail folder as it may have gone in there. (They may have to log in to their email address via the internet rather than an app on a device as if it has been identified as spam at server level, it will not get through to their device because the spam folder at server level and the spam folder on the device do not always sync.)

Who accredits your courses?
Our courses are accredited by the CMA (Complementary Medical Association), which is internationally recognised as the elite force in professional, ethical complementary medicine by professional practitioners, doctors and, increasingly, by the general public. Upon completion of the course, you can gain membership to the CMA, which in addition to supplying a professional accreditation, offers a number of benefits. Our courses are also endorsed by the ABC Awards and Certa Awards Quality Licence Scheme. On completion of a course, students have the option of purchasing a Certificate of Achievement and a learner unit summary from ABC Awards and Certa Award.

Is the price for the entire course?
The price is for the entire course and assessments. This also includes the downloadable certificates.

How much does it cost in $ Dollars (or other currency)?
The prices shown on our website are in £'s Sterling. If you use the flag icon at the top of the page you can select a different currency from the drop-down list. This will show the equivalent price in that currency.

I've complete my course but it only shows as 75% (e.g.) completed
The % completed indicator is for your own personal reference. You need to press “complete” for each individual lesson to keep it as up-to-date as possible. To do this please follow the steps below:

1. Click onto your course in the Learning Centre.
2. Click onto the sections of the module (under module overview on the right-hand side of the page)
3. Click the green button that says “Complete Lesson” (on the right-hand side of the page). A message will appear that says “Congratulations! You have completed this Lesson”

Repeat this for all lessons of the course you have completed and the % completed for the course will change accordingly (the lesson in the 'Module Overview' section will turn blue).
Your course will not show as 100% until you have pressed the “complete lesson” button in each individual lesson AND all of your assessments have been graded.

I can't remove a course from my basket?
If you have applied a code for that particular course you need to:
1. Remove the code
2. Then remove the course.

Age limits. How old do you have to be to do a course?
From age 13 in the UK young people can register for their own accounts to complete our courses. Under the age of 13 and in other countries, parents would need to register an account themselves and their children can then complete the course through that account, under their supervision. (You will be able to set the certificate name on successful completion of the course to the child’s name so that they will receive their very own certificate).
