You'll learn about the Roman and Viking invasions of Scotland. Examining the results and how each changed the country. You'll explore the kingdoms of what is now Scotland and the life of Scottish hero and folk figure William Wallace.

The course explores Scotland's Stewart monarchs and their impact on national identity. It also guides you through the Scottish Reformation. Examining the knock-on effects breaking away from the Catholic church had on the monarchy and everyday life.

The Scottish History Diploma Course looks into the series of wars that took place between England, Ireland and Scotland. We'll also explore Scotland's union with England and Wales, creating the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

Finally, we'll explore the rapid changes that brought Scotland into the modern era. We cover the country's economy, changes in working conditions, class and women's rights, and cultural and literary evolutions.
