Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary wellness approach based on the idea that different points on the feet, lower legs, hands, face, or ears are connected to different areas of the body. Reflexologists use this approach to support relaxation and wellbeing as part of a holistic lifestyle.
This Reflexology Diploma Course provides in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge for those wishing to learn about reflexology techniques, either for personal interest, to incorporate them into an existing complementary therapy practice, or for continuing professional development (CPD).

This online reflexology course explores in depth the theory of reflexology, including how different systems of the body function in a healthy or disordered state and how, according to reflexology principles, specific points on the feet and hands correspond to these systems. You will learn how reflexology techniques can be applied to support relaxation, promote a sense of well-being, and complement conventional healthcare.
Alongside the course materials, you will have access to video demonstrations from a Holistic Therapist showing a reflexology session, highlighting key techniques and session flow. These videos cover foot preparation, ankle rotation, spinal friction, foot moulding, creeping and finger walking, hooking out, kneading, relaxation techniques, and how to close a session.
You’ll study the history and modern practice of reflexology, explore foot maps and zone theory, and learn about preparation, consultation, and maintaining professional boundaries. You will be introduced to common reflexology techniques and how they are applied within the context of relaxation and holistic wellness.
The course also covers the anatomy and functions of the body’s main systems (including digestive, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic, endocrine, nervous, sensory, and musculoskeletal systems) from an educational perspective. You will learn how reflexology theory associates specific reflex points with these systems, and how techniques may be used in a complementary setting to support general wellbeing.
A section on hand reflexology provides maps, exercises, and guidance on applying techniques to the hands in line with reflexology principles.
Finally, the course offers guidance on the applicable considerations if you aspire to one day start a reflexology practice, such as researching the field, preparing a safe working environment, essential equipment, basic record keeping (or bookkeeping), and promoting services ethically.
