Irish Mythology consists of four cycles: Mythological, Ulster, Fenian, and Kings’ Cycle. We'll guide you through stories, characters, and the most important aspects of each.

From the Mythological Cycle you’ll gain an in-depth breakdown of the Book of Invasions. The Ulster Cycle includes an extended discussion on the Táin Bó Cuailnge. The Fenian Cycle examines Fionn mac Cumhaill’s life. The King’s Cycle looks into the role bards and poets played in Irish myths.

The course also covers Irish Folklore. We’ll discuss the Sídhe, the fairy folk, and the myths surrounding them. Explore areas of mythological significance in Ireland. And examine the Wheel of the Year and major pagan festivals.
