The Nervous System, Breath and the Body

This programme opens by building a solid foundation in how the body holds and processes experience, so you can work with real depth and safety across every modality that follows. You'll learn to read the nervous system's ventral, sympathetic and dorsal states in real time, and pair that awareness with grounding and co-regulation techniques suited to each. 

From there, you'll move into breathwork, comparing approaches like conscious connected breathing, box breathing and coherent breathing alongside the screening and safety considerations each one demands, before developing a set of somatic grounding exercises you can weave into any session format. Practical tools included with this programme, including the Client Nervous System State Assessment Form and the Somatic Session Notes Template, are ready to use with clients as you work through these modules.

Shadow Work, Sound and Intuitive Practice

From the body, the programme moves into some of the more advanced modalities practitioners are asked for again and again. You'll learn how to assess a client's readiness before beginning shadow work, and how to structure a session that moves safely from intention setting through exploration to integration and closing. 

You'll also develop your sound healing practice, from instrument selection through to designing a full session arc, and build your intuitive development with a structured way of tracking and refining your impressions over time, alongside the language and ethical self-checks that keep intuitive work responsible rather than presumptive.

Trauma-Informed Practice and Grief Support

Spiritual practice inevitably brushes up against trauma and loss, and this part of the programme gives you the skills and confidence to hold that territory well. You'll learn how to adapt common spiritual techniques for clients with trauma histories, recognise the four trauma responses as they show up in a session, and build a referral network so you know when to step back and bring in clinical support. 

You'll then explore the practical structure of grief work, including how to hold space through a session, the major models of grief you can draw on, and how to look after your own energy and boundaries once a grief session ends.

Working with Groups, Retreats and Ceremony

Many practitioners eventually want to move beyond one-to-one work, and this section gives you the tools to do that properly. You'll learn how to plan and facilitate a circle from opening to closing, including ground rules and how to handle difficult moments, and how to run a workshop or retreat with real structure behind it, from concept and schedule through to logistics and pricing.

Designing Your Integrated Practice

The final strand brings everything together. You'll learn how to design signature sessions that weave multiple modalities into one coherent arc matched to a client's needs and nervous system state, and how to map which approach to use at which point in that arc. 

You'll also complete a scope of practice audit and build a twelve-month CPD plan, so you finish this programme with a clear, honest picture of what you're ready to offer and where you want to keep growing.
