Three principles-based coaching is a three-step formula, designed to equip us with a profound perception of life.
This course explains how this approach to life helps to provide us with an understanding of our inner workings and true identity, and how to unlock our full potential. By diverting all of our wasted energy into productive thought, we free up our willpower, channel our focus and gain an unmatched clarity that bolsters our performance in everyday life.
The Three Principles Coaching Diploma Course begins with an introduction to the subject - outlining its role and purpose, an explanation of three principles-based coaching and a look at its founder, Sydney Banks. We also consider how it sits within the wider concepts of perception, the spiritual dimension, and the universal human experience.
From here, we’ll look at each of the principles individually - beginning with Thought. We look at various thought-based concepts, schemas and maladaptive schema, and the inner voice and how it connects with us.
It’s then onto the second principle - Consciousness. We learn how consciousness is defined through the eyes of both the philosopher and non-philosopher, and explore the concepts of dualism and materialism, the emotional body and sensory perceptions.
To explain the third principle, Mind, we will explore the role altruism plays in connecting us to each other, the role of The Greater Mind and Universal Intelligence, and how Universal Intelligence connects us to the source of the divine.
You will discover how three principles-based coaching is conducted and how to distinguish between intuition and goals, along with a comprehensive understanding of the 12 Universal Laws. We also look at how our thoughts create reality - gaining insight into the concepts of self-sabotage, mental modules and free-will.
You’ll learn about best practices and ethics within coaching. This includes how coaches conduct their sessions, the various coaching foundations, the core competencies and ethics of coaching, and an introduction to the International Coaching Federation.
Three principles coaching has an outstanding number of benefits in the physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions. The change that occurs with three principle coaching is one of permanence. We examine the beneficial effects of this powerful coaching tradition for clients, therapists and coaches, those in the workplace, and those in education.
The course concludes with a collection of useful quotes (and their meanings) from the founding father of the Three Principles, Sydney Banks.
